A Court Support Coordinator (CSC) is a specialist court staff member who has a background in social work.

CSC can provide:

  • referrals to community support services, such as drug and alcohol, housing, youth support, family violence and others.
  • information about court processes to people who do not have legal representation.
  • emotional support to people who are upset or seeking help.

During the Covid – 19 restrictions all cases are being conducted by online video hearings and court users should not attend court premises.

CSC currently offer information and support to court users by telephone and can be contacted by calling:

Referrals to the CSC can be received from other support services, court users, registry staff, judicial officer and lawyers.  CSC have a centralised intake email address for referrals: csc.childrens@courts.vic.gov.au
